Wedding Weekend-- JLO STORY

PLEASE JLO'S COMMENT ON THIS GREAT STORY WELL TOLD

So little life so much to post.. Wait a minute.. New Bern is not great but solid.. I just needed some new music so bad I couldn't take it..
Well the couples shower has now turned into wedding weekend is starting tomorrow.. I know other people will be crying on this momentous moment in these peoples lives.. I will be crying for the grand I spent on three tuxes and a bridesmaid dress.. I guess I will have to ask Grandpa MasterCard or Uncle Visa for some more help..

The new TV season is upon us so I am sure to post crap about the office since I watch each episode twice.. IJ recommends Studio 60 or something with Mathew Perry I have it on the season pass but have not watched it.. Anybody else? I will also watch the life and times of HeavyD better known as the biggest loser.. (too easy sorry for that one).. I feel like crap so I normally would be really bitter but the Twins keep lifting my spirits. How would you like to be the Red Sox "we are going to put Kurt Schilling out there to face the mighty twins lineup in the Hallowed grounds of Fenway." The Twins are sending out a rookie name Boof whose home stadium is a giant pimple on the ass off the Midwest landscape.. But Wait a minute.. The Twins bend there Wicked Saaxks ass over and spank them night after night and seal it by putting the Yankees in the playoffs.. Thanks for the season… It has been the best regular season I have ever witnessed in any sport .(Better Than 15-1 vikes (hard to cheer for chris carter)). Baseball can still be great over 162 games..

Vikes Prediction
They will lose 17-10
There offensive line will not be able to do a thing against the Bears.. Why does Kluwe suck this year? Chester was great last week I watched the game again and he is just so solid even though the vikes are getting no push off the ball.. Was that the worst announcing team you have ever heard.. What do they do on off days call the Fargo Flash games what is that.. Who will we get this weekend Chad Hartman.. Yuck....

The One the Only Bern
Gotta love it.. Please Close the Window..
"If I's a bee I'd have to sting you with my stinger And then your arm would swell and hurt for days If I's a bell I'd ring you all day with my ringer Until you'd open up and see my face I'm not asking For very much Remember me Remember me "

Vikes win 21-13...

Twins win tonight...

Someone gets voted off survivor tonight...

I've got this great story I'm dying to tell...

My son last night comes home crying...the neighborhood bully told my son and his friend that they couldn't play with the rest of the neighborhood kids...my son then hears the bully say, as my son is walking away toward our house..."why does that kid have to live in our neighborhood"...I'm immediately ready to give up the law license and go into the bully kid's yard and butt-flogg the little bastard...then I cool down long enough to tell my son that he should go back out to where the kids are playing and get back in the game...told him I'd be his wingman watching from my yard...after five minutes of his saying he'd be embarassed, and refusing, crying, etc...I point to the yard and say "go". I watch him approach the yard and say something to one of the kids...the kid grabs the football...sends my son out for a pass, and throws the ball to him... the big kid (the bully) hops in and tries to take the ball from my son...I can't hear what he says, but I can see him standing up to the bully...I'm at this point about ready to run over to the yard and give the bully a fox-2 when one of the other kids...a disabled kid who limps, usually rides in a motorized wheel chair to school escorted by his mom and sisters, and has one arm about 8 inches long, with his good arm shoves the bully and points to the street...they talk a bit and the bully leaves...my son stays out until it's too dark to play anymore, and when he comes back in he says....get this..."You were right Dad, I shouldn't let bullys push me around...and I made a new friend...you know that kid who usually rides in the wheel chair...he was playing with us"...earlier, while I'm watching this beautiful scene unfold now from my picture window, I've got the tears rolling down my eyes, and my younger son unsolicited brings me a roll of toilet paper, and tells me to stop crying like a baby...I kid you not gentlemen, it really happened last night...I know you've had some frustrations with your situation D, just thought you might enjoy a true story where the good kids win in the end!

Vikes 16-13. Heavy - keep picking against the vikes, it has worked 2 weeks in a row!

Twins - I agree. This has been the most enjoyable run to watch. The wolves first real playoff run was fun to watch, but this beats it. I think that it is partly because so many guys have come out of the woodwork to have career years (and hopefully they will not be flash in the pans). 33-4-MVP, Cuddy, Punto (the O and the D), the young pitchers down the stretch after Liriano (the F-bomb)went down, Mauer hitting and handling the young pitchers. I could go on and on, the emergence of Bartlett (his D has been awesome). My kids have the Magic Number up on the board and can't wait to bring it down one (or two) each morning.

The Twins are amazing. With Santana and a patchwork staff of rookies, they are 2 wins from having the best record in baseball, yet are still in 2nd place. I can't wait for the playoffs. In theory it would be better for us to win the wild card instead of the division, then we would get the Yankees in a 5 game series instead of having to play them in a 7 game ALCS, assuming we both get there. If we do win the division, it would be awesome if someone else could knock them off.

Vikes - since they are at the Metrodome, they do have a better chance against the Bears. Rex Grossman is NOT as good as he has been playing, he will come back to earth. Money well spent, part III - Longwell wins it again with a FG - 20-17.

I agree on Bern good, but far from his best. Maybe it will grow on me the more I listen to it, hope so.

Will they be playing Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" when they parade you old, fat, ex-jocks out at half time of the Royals Homecoming game? At least you won't be eating with the in-laws!

They should rename the Survivor tribes to Crackers, Spics, Chinks, and Niggaz.

Is Santana pissing the Cy Young down his leg?

Urlacker would look great in Viking's purple, better than Sharper...look at me now.

JLO, great story about your kid and the bully...MEAN PEOPLE SUCK.

Referring to my last few Vikes posts...the Vikes have had a few bad plays per game (although generally have played good, well disciplined and controlled ball)...with generally one ridiculously moronic play per game (on an A - F scale, a Z-). Why is it that Childers waited to whip out the Z- the last damn play of the game this time. How about learning to prioritize...

Priorities:

1. 62 yards to go with a couple of minutes left in the game, down by three, with one time out left...you had better make priority #1 getting the damn ball within field goal range to tie the sucker up!

2. Don't turn the ball over!

3. Throw the ball out of bounds if no one is open...you have four full downs to get ten yards...entirely doable!!!...don't even think about taking a sack!

4. Throw "in" routes only if you can get a first down, or have an open receiver deep...then consider taking your timeout!

5. "Poise" as WHS coach DB used to say!!!...absolutely no 5-yard killer penalties during a two minute drill in your own barn!

6. 3rd and 2 or 4th and 2 on THEIR thirty eight...quick pass, quick pass, quick pass, quick pass, quick pass!!!!!!!! Never, EVER throw an out-of-bounds floater into double tight coverage on 4th and 2 with 1:15 left in the game, one time out left, and 10 more yards to put your guy in FG range....moronic!!!!!

We still played a helluva game against a great team, but it should have been a win...or, at a minimum, if we'd been well coached we might have lost in overtime!!!!!

I haven't lost faith in the boys or the coach just yet as they're all still pretty green, but I hope Childers wakes up the next few nights shitting blood for that moronic call which cost us an important win against a tough Chicago team. I place that blunder squarely on Chilly's shoulders this time!
